A religious rally led by an anti-LGBTQ+ Christian activist in Seattle has been drowned out by a group of protestors playing Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” on the kazoo.
Roughly 200 pro-LGBTQ+ protestors arrived at Gas Works Park in Seattle on Saturday, 30 August, armed with hundreds of the buzzy oral instruments in their hands and the tune of Roan’s number one hit in their heads.
Earlier in the day, Christian activist group Let Us Worship had set up in the park, readying to host an evangelical Christian rally concert dubbed ‘Revive in 25’.
The event was being led by Let Us Worship founder and Christian singer Sean Feucht, who has been noted for his anti-LGBTQ+ remarks and his support for Donald Trump.
He previously referred to the LGBTQ+ community as a “mafia” and a “cult bent on perverting and destroying the innocence” of children.
