Looking back on a proud Folds of Honor Friday moment as we celebrate the U.S. Air Force’s 78th birthday, founded September 18, 1947. This year, the icing on the FOHF-cake was the national anthem sung by Major Sarah Searles, a Reno local since 2015 and Reno Air National Guard instructor who has served in the Air Force since 2012. Today and everyday, we proudly stand behind Sarah and all those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice as we support Folds of Honor’s mission of providing scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled heroes. When Sarah isn’t flying, you can catch her hiking or biking with her two toddlers and husband who served 21 years in the Air Force before retiring in 2022.
