Music City Mayhem. One of the greatest Open Cup nights this year. Drums, trumpets, guitars, a limbo line in the concourse, and pure honky-tonk harmony on the pitch. Surridge at the helm. Like the three notes of a beautiful cowboy chord, he struck thrice to get the whole stadium on its feet. A perfect Nashville hat-trick that sent shockwaves all across GEODIS Park, reverberating deep in the lungs of all those who came out for this midweek Open Cup clash. Passionate, creative, and hardworking supporters we were lucky to meet on the Soccer Bus and around the stadium during the game. A perfect reflection of the rhythm and soul that characterizes this city and that’s now bled so naturally into their local club. It was an honor to get to experience such a momentous occasion for soccer in this city alongside some incredible fans. We leave Nashville happier than ever, knowing we’ll get to see our new friends at the final stop on our Open Cup roadtrip in two weeks time!! 🚌 🤠
