🇺🇸Here is the fourth story on Utah Olympic athletes about our @rosiewbrennan cross-country skier from Park City. 📸: @usskiteam For Rosie Brennan, it was a combination of being exposed to the Games and her family’s decision to open their home to a Nordic combined athlete training in Park City. She says “I decided I wanted to go to the Olympics at age 7 after watching the ‘96 gymnastics team take the gold and was further inspired by experiencing the Winter Olympics in my backyard in ‘02 but it wasn’t until I picked up a pair of cross country skis in ‘03 that I realized the sport that would take me there.”
Because the Park City schools took a three-week break, Brennan was able to immerse herself in everything Olympic. “It was a blast,” she said of the 2002 Games and the festivities that accompanied them. “I loved every bit of it.
