At just 9 months old, Sarah faces a rare degenerative condition called Infantile Refsum Disease, which affects her hearing, vision, balance and overall health. After her father kicked them out, calling her “too expensive to keep alive”, Sarah and her mother found themselves homeless and vulnerable.
