Witness Tammy Cleland-McGregor’s breathtaking and historic suit during the Artistic Swimming Team event at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Games.   Making history, the United States took home the first-ever team gold medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in the Team event. Knox (also known as clear gelatin) and lots of bobby pins work to keep headpieces in place while the athletes ‘skull’ and spin underwater. In addition to earning a gold medal, this year Tammy was appointed as the Head Coach of the USA Artistic Swimming National Team.
