First few weeks postpartum are a blur of snuggles and naps, definitely not a lot of selfies happening over here! ❤️ But today felt different. Today, I felt good enough to visit my incredible Grandma. It's hard to believe it's been years since the devastating accident that took my Grandpa and left her with so many surgeries and challenges. For so long, we wondered why she fought so hard to relearn everything. But moments like these… holding my baby, sharing this new life with her… it brings such peace and joy. It wasn't for nothing. Even with her dementia, her eyes light up for this little one and she radiates a pure joy for life's milestones. Feeling so incredibly lucky to have her hold my hand and tell me "good job."
