When I got this wedding invitation, I thought there was no way I could make it. The date was literally the same day as my Olympic competition in Paris. It was a bittersweet feeling to have such a fun backup plan, but I knew I had to wait until after trials to RSVP. Fast forward to tonight, and I'm so incredibly grateful I could be here celebrating Chris and Shay's love. Reminiscing with friends about our favorite memories made this night even more special. While I wanted to chasing this Olympic dream, this is a moment I'll cherish forever.Thank you to my love for holding my hand, dancing and feeding me all the hors d'oeuvres.
