There are already some black tire marks across the bright blue paint at the intersection of Hawthorne Street and Kirby Avenue, less than a week since volunteers put the paint down. Jon Jon Wesolowski doesn't mind. "It's already showing that people take that corner super sharp," Wesolowski said, pointing at marks close to the curb. "Actually, that's kind of a useful indicator, being like, 'This is why we have to do this.' "I want the marks to be there," he said, "I want people to see it. It's going to prove the point," he said.
