Food & Liquor is the debut studio album by #LupeFiasco, released on September 19, 2006, through 1st & 15th Entertainment and Atlantic Records. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number eight, selling 81,000 copies in its first week. By January 2008, it had sold 325,000 copies in the United States, and on September 22, 2021, it was certified gold by the RIAA. The project earned four Grammy Award nominations, including Best Rap Album at the 49th Grammy Awards. Its standout single “Daydreamin’,” featuring Jill Scott, went on to win Best Urban/Alternative Performance at the 50th Grammy Awards.
