This Mexican Independence Day, we’re honoring the bold, community-driven spirit that built TCAA. More than 50 years ago, a group of Mexican-American women in Tempe saw that too many families in their neighborhood were going without. From their local tortilla factory, they launched something powerful — a grassroots effort to fight poverty and feed their community. That movement became TCAA. Today, we carry their legacy forward.
