When Mere and David reached out to capture newborn portraits, I knew I wanted to do something a little extra special to celebrate their entrance into parenthood. I didn’t have an exact plan at the time — all I knew was that I wanted to create a time capsule for them to enjoy at a later date. So I asked a few questions on camera and as I was piecing the video together, I recognized their synchronicities— how some of their responses felt like it was from one body. I also noticed how their individual stories and experiences helped shape the story from their personal backgrounds and feelings.
