“I changed the cycle of many girls in my community.” ✨ When Wendy was told her education should end after elementary school, she refused to let society decide her future. With the support of of our long-term partner MAIA_Impact, she persisted and attended high school and is now the first in her family to attend university. Wendy uses her voice through art, poetry, and leadership to advocate for Indigenous girls’ rights. 📚 Wendy is studying psychopedagogy. 🎨 She shares her story through art and poetry. 🌎 She is proving to girls everywhere: “We have the right to choose our own futures.” Her parents once doubted her dreams—now they celebrate her achievements with pride. 💬 Wendy’s message to other girls: “Believe in yourself.
