August is Black Philanthropy Month in the United States. It’s a moment to honor the legacy of movements fighting for racial justice and building lasting change. Movements fighting for racial justice and gender justice are interconnected. Yet less than 0.5% of foundation giving globally goes to Black women, girls, and trans people.
