She portrays the women in her documentaries, art, & film as “everyday resisters”, and tells the story of marginalized women with a feminist lens. “I like to invent cinematographic forms that allow me to film people in their dignity & their acts of resistance.” Leïla Saadna employs creative freedom as a filmmaker, visual artist, & photography director to break away from the status quo.
