At She’s the First, we believe that education is a powerful tool in breaking the cycle of child labor. By partnering with grassroots leaders and community organizations worldwide, we create transformational outcomes for girls, empowering them to become leaders and advocates for their rights. In our girl-centered design trainings, mentors learn skills that improve their abilities to identify vulnerable girls in their communities who need intervention. They’re then better equipped to take action. At the same time, our advocacy training programs and tools are not just about education but instilling confidence, empowering girls to advocate for themselves and fight against the injustices they face, including child labor.
