Poetry allows girls to share their stories, embrace their unique voices, and connect with others across boundaries. It's a form of art that empowers, heals, and liberates. Through verses, we find strength, courage, and the freedom to be our authentic selves. We highlight three brave girls who submitted poems through our partner organizations. 1️⃣ Madiana, from Kusi.Kawsay, created “Gracias,” a poem that talks about being thankful for her body. 2️⃣ Isatou Jallow, from StarfishIntl, created “What makes me Powerful, a poem that talks about what makes her feel powerful. 3️⃣ Dawa Dolma Sherpa, from thesmallworldnepal, created a poem that talks about menstruation.
