The indefatigable force for art, who gave to artists in the form of buying their work, who gave to museums by serving on their boards and spearheading campaigns to raise money and bought great works for museums around America, who supported the underrepresented by raising g and donating money, who I had dinner with many times and who always regaled with astounding art world stories. She was a diamond in a world of diamonds. Kind, generous, ultra-sensitive, showed up for everything, gave amazing toasts at numerous events, spoke at many memorials memorably. Her kind feels rare and irreplaceable.
