A new East China Sea fishing season has begun in east China's Zhejiang Province, following a four-and-a-half-month moratorium that officially ended on Tuesday. Local fishermen held a grand ceremony to mark the beginning of the new season.⁣ ⁣ Villagers in Xiangshan County, Ningbo, gathered on the shore at the Shipu fishing port - one of China's six major fishing ports - to watch the ceremony. Over 1,500 fishing vessels sounded their horns in unison at 12pm.
