Luke 4:2–8,13 Jesus was tempted for forty days in the wilderness. He ate nothing during that time, and afterward, He was hungry. The enemy whispered: “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” But Jesus replied: “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” Then the devil offered Him authority over all the kingdoms of the world if He would only bow down. But Jesus stood firm: “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.” And when the devil had exhausted every temptation, he departed until another time. ✨ Don’t let the enemy lure you.
