Sam Houston at No. 8 Texas – Game Highlights (Sept. 20, 2025) Arch Manning looked sharp as the Longhorns blew out Sam Houston 55-0 in Austin in their final non-conference tune-up. Texas scored on its first nine possessions and dominated from start to finish.  Manning passed for 309 yards and three touchdowns while adding two rushing TDs before being subbed out in the third quarter. He was 18-of-21 through the air.  The Longhorn ground game also piled up yards, and the defense shut down the Bearkats, forcing multiple three-and-outs and not allowing a first down through the first 15 plays.
