Through the writing, filming and promotion of this project, I’ve healed so much of my trauma. I’ve never felt sexier, more comfortable in my body, or more confident around my sexuality. The response to this new found confidence has been overwhelmingly positive. And if it’s negative, what’s interesting is that it’s always framed as “don’t dress like that, be yourself!” As if being sexually empowered and confident couldn’t possibly be who I actually am.
