THE PROBLEM: I wasnât using SD cards that had a fast enough write speed. Normally I never have that issue with these cards, but because I was shooting in Canonâs âsilent shutter functionâ, I didnât realize how fast and how many images I was taking in the moment.
THE SOLUTION: Not knowing how much time I had before the bride walked down the aisle, I decided to swap to my second camera which had a 70-200mm lens on it. It wasnât ideal, but it gave me enough of what I needed to capture until my other camera caught back up!
Other notes:
- No, taking the battery out would not have helped in the moment - it actually wouldâve been very bad to do that if the images were still writing on the cards.
