About 20 unhoused residents of Harrisburg‘s Tent City on S. Front St. say they were rousted at 4 AM by about a dozen Capitol Police officers. They’ve been given a few hours to move from the PennDOT-owned site. Most of them do not want to go to a new alternative tent site located about a mile away. The new site has been dubbed the ‘miracle community’ and is owned and operated by a city nonprofit, which has instituted 24-hour video surveillance monitoring and a list of rules. This is an interview with Shawn, who is 53 years old. He said he’s in a bad spot and is not sure where he will go. #pennlive #harrisburgpa
