At first glance, the Animal Realm in the Wheel of Life appears peaceful, a world of instinct and nature. But look deeper, and a harsher truth emerges.
In Buddhist teachings, this realm represents a life of ignorance, fear, and vulnerability. Animals endure constant suffering, hunted, exploited, dominated, and often the first victims of human cruelty and environmental destruction.
š Without the power to change their fate, animals suffer silently, trapped in a cycle they cannot escape. Though they feel deeply, they lack the awareness needed to break free from their pain.
In episode 4 of AWAKEN, we explore the Animal Realm, a reminder of the responsibility we carry as humans, and the importance of compassion for all living beings.
