At Canine Companions, we're humbled to be able to serve the community and first responders who aided in search and rescue efforts at Ground Zero. We're grateful to those who selflessly put their lives on the line to save others. In 2007, we added the Veterans Initiative, a program providing life-changing #servicedogs to veterans with disabilities, including to those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Through this effort, we've also been empowering veterans to be able to lead their lives with greater independence and confidence.
