Today we are glad to introduce our partnership with thevortexswim and the swimmer Benoit Lecomte who will swim the pacific with a unique BALTIC Aquascaphe on his wrist. Since today and during the next 3 months, Benoit Lecomte will swim 300 nautical miles through the pacific ocean, and more specifically the north pacific garbage patch, to collect samples and raise awareness about the micro-plastics in the ocean. The North Pacific garbage patch is well known as the highest concentration of plastic in our oceans. Micro-plastics are in constant rising in our oceans and contaminate the entire ocean ecosystem including the marine life that we like so much. Because we felt connected to what the thevortexswim is achieving, that why we've made a special watch for him and his crew. For the planet, Benoit and his Aquascaphe will swim the pacific.
