Nereide Carbonio is a celebration of modern material science and aesthetics. This is a stunning 200m dive watch with the dial and bezel insert made of forged carbon, the most intriguing material we have used so far in our projects.  Forged carbon is a super-strong and lightweight, anti-corrosion material introduced just a few years ago in car and aerospace industry. It is composed of carbon fiber and resin, which are mixed together, compressed and backed to obtain a given shape.  The filaments of carbon are placed randomly and reflect the light differently upon changing the direction the light hits them, with this giving the illusion of the surface to move, like a living creature.
