The reason for this evolution is very simple. The side of the rotating bezels of the Ref. 5303 and 8315 are polished, whereas the signature flat-top bezel of the Serica Field Watch is vertically brushed. This is obviously not ideal when it meets the center-case, as the latter is also finished with a 12-6 vertical brushing. The new twisted lugs of the reference 6190 create a polished split between the two components revealing the harmonious layers of its construction.
