Hugely popular girl group KATSEYE reaffirmed their trans allyship with a powerful statement of inclusivity at their recent Grammy Museum spotlight event. On Thursday (18 September), the girl group appeared on the Museum’s Ray Charles Rooftop Terrace for an evening celebrating their second EP, 'Beautiful Chaos.' During their interview, they expressed clear and direct support for trans women being included in their track, which celebrates all types of women. The six-piece is comprised of Sophia Laforteza, Manon Bannerman, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, and Yoonchae Jeong. Two members of KATSEYE are out members of the LGBTQ+ community. In March, Lara told fans she is “half fruitcake.” Then, in June, Megan came out as bisexual in a live stream.
