Not gonna lie… PCOS can feel like a full-time job some days, and I definitely don’t manage it perfectly. But these 5 habits are the ones I keep coming back to. They help me feel steady, balanced, and more like myself.
1. Strength training 3x a week — building muscle improves insulin sensitivity and supports hormone balance! And bonus you feel so strong and hot.
2. 30g+ protein at breakfast — starting the day with protein helps stabilize blood sugar and I find that it prevents the mid-morning crash & helps be make better choices throughout the day!
3. Daily walks — even 10–15 minutes improves digestion, lowers post-meal blood sugar spikes, and reduces stress. I always use this as my podcast time! I typically walk right when I wake up to get some morning sunlight.
4. Lower sugar dessert swaps — cutting back on added sugar helps with cravings, inflammation, and hormone regulation (but I still get my sweet fix). This also really helps my skin!!
