The threat of radioactive shrimp isn’t over yet: A Seattle company is recalling more than 85,000 bags of raw, cooked and skewered shrimp sold across several states, including Oregon and Washington. AquaStar, a Seattle-based seafood wholesaler, announced Saturday it would recall three separate shrimp products that may be contaminated with a radioactive substance, according to a notice posted by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. It follows a series of shrimp recalls made last month for similar reasons. Recalled products include Kroger Raw Colossal EZ Peel Shrimp, Kroger Mercado Cooked Medium Peeled Tail-Off Shrimp and AquaStar Raw Peeled Tail-on Shrimp Skewers.
