The SM East’s boys varsity soccer team was able to heavily maintain possession of the ball during their game against Gardner Edgerton. Senior Andrew Bennet scored the first goal of the game less than two minutes in. Senior Stephen Hlobik scored three out of the seven goals. Senior Hudson Bennish assisted two of of Hlobik’s goals. Senior Miles Gibson scored two goals in the second half. The last goal of the game was scored by senior Andrew Bennett. The team’s record in now 4-1 The varsity soccer team will play their next game against the SM South Raiders at SM South district stadium on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
