Introducing The Walnut Classic 🪵🔥🌊 This board is truly a work of art. It’s made from birch with a walnut veneer, and a custom inlaid brass stringer. It’s very nice, and our most ambitious project to date 🏆 It rides like the OG Classic, but a little loggier because the walnut has a little more backbone. You can still open it up and be as responsive as you want, with deep rail carves, thanks to the latest HST truck system. A dream for footwork and cross stepping as well. She glides 🌊✨ Please note with experimental risks, you can’t expect perfect results. The process to make this board was very challenging around the lacquering with the brass stringer. The conditions have to be just right for the lacquer to cure on the brass, and if it’s not perfect, bubbles can occur. For each perfect deck that came out we had too many blems.
