I talk to a LOT of a women about money. Sometimes they want advice about spending on their business, sometimes they want to know how soon is too soon to take investors, and sometimes they just want to know what I would do in their specific situation. My advice will vary but I can always tell if a woman has a negative mindset around money in the first few sentences of talking to her. We don’t even realize we do it. But we say things like, “I just want to make enough money to ____” or “I don’t know if I deserve as much money as this new opportunity is offering me.” I want you to know your words are much more powerful than you realize. I want women to believe they deserve fabulous success. It’s not lost on me that for generations and generations, the women who came before me and you (for the most part) were not given the freedom or the opportunity to make their own money.
