The Spirit and Latin American Youth Center have partnered to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a special shirt design that honors the vibrancy, strength, and spirit of the Latino community 💛🌺🌷💐 The design, modeled by Spirit and Colombian national team player Leicy Santos, along with some of the youth artists, features vivid colors and symbolic flowers inspired by cultures across Spanish-speaking countries. Their artwork beautifully captures the diversity, resilience, and cultural richness of Latino heritage. The collection is titled “El Sonido de DC”, a tribute to the powerful voices and influence of the Latino community in Washington, DC. 10% of all shirt and hat sales will benefit LAYC’s “Bridge the Gap” campaign, which supports and empowers local Latino youth.
