Aaaand that’s a wrap! When you reach the northern terminus of the Pacific Crest Trail at the border of Canada, you now have to turn around and walk 30 miles back to Harts Pass to actually get out. You used to be able to walk just eight miles to the next town in Canada, but alas, that border crossing is now closed as of earlier this year. Those extra 30 miles back out to Harts Pass turned out to be a dream. The weather was perfect, we got to see and say goodbye to some trail friends, and the skies were much clearer than when we were hiking north to the border, providing incredible views of the mountains in the distance! Anyway, thanks for following along with my PCT thru-hike and Carson City to Canada Quest this year!
