Black migrant women are too often left out of the immigration conversation. They face overlapping barriers — from racial profiling and economic exclusion to healthcare discrimination and the constant fear of family separation. Yet, in the face of structural violence, Black communities continue to create spaces of resistance and care through storytelling, mutual aid, and grassroots organizing. Organizations like Black Alliance for Just Immigration, Haitian Women for Haitian Refugees, and African Communities Together are leading the fight for justice.
