Hey, hey, we have service again. #Ragasa missed us by just a meer 30 miles. Little disappointing from a chasing perspective. But, when all models are showing the system heading further North, and with only one flight left to our island two days out the decision had to be made. That's island roulette sometimes. I learned so much this trip and happy to finally get a typhoon under my belt. Got to visit Asia for my first time (that's wild to say out loud) and this little island I've never heard of just absolutely blew me out of the water with how incredible people are out here. It's like a better Hawaii without any tourists. Just villagers out here living and helping one another. A local to the mainland even cooked us fish and vegetables after just meeting us that morning during the storm. We are stuck on the island until Thursday likely without power.
