These photos were taken less than 10 hours apart from each other...... I'm still trying to process what the heck happened yesterday. Yesterday truly showed why North Dakota is "legendary". I was in Utah exploring Monsoon with my buddy John and super bummed about missing the tornado in the town we literally woke up when I just happened to noticed how tight the storm system that produced that wound up and ejected into the Dakotas with hints of storms forming on the Northern side of the low with extreme vorticity and a higher end tornado threat than I thought was being portrayed. So, I packed up my things, and took on the overnight 17 hour trek and the first tornado touched down within 10 miles of my target area. Linked up with one of my best friends jordanhall_wx and from there the rest was history documenting at least 20 tornadoes.
