Pregnancy number two was wonderful (despite the constant nausea and thirst for lemonade!). It took a while to get pregnant and I was not in a good place. Because of my previous experience, I was very hesitant to be excited too quickly. But remember THIS IS A GOOD STORY! Luckily it progressed perfectly. I passed all tests with flying colors and in 2010 welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. We didn’t know her gender in advance. I wanted a girl so badly I convinced myself she was a boy so I wouldn’t be disappointed. From the moment I held her, my heart exploded with more love than I could have ever imagined. We were released from the hospital two days later and cautiously brought this little human - born during a blizzard - home to our New York City apartment.
