🏔️ Monitoring wildlife in the rugged terrain of Chile’s Cochamó Valley is no easy task... but it is a bit easier with camera traps! 📸 Since 2018, Re:wild partner puelopatagonia has deployed a wildlife monitoring program in the region, one of which is in collaboration with local organizations— clubandino.cochamo and org.vallecochamo. Together they have hidden 25 remote cameras to help capture footage of local wildlife to help conserve the area’s rich biodiversity. 📷 🐾 Each sighting from these cameras helps scientists in shaping protections for this ecosystem.
