โ—๏ธThe 2026 F1 grid is set for a massive power unit shake-up like never before. Alpine will ditch Renault power and become a Mercedes customer. Red Bull and Racing Bulls will run Red Bull Powertrains in partnership with Ford. Aston Martin will switch to Honda and become a full works team. Ferrari continues as a works team with Haas and new entrant Cadillac as customers. Cadillac will debut in F1 using Ferrari engines before developing its own. Audi officially joins F1 as a works team, supplying engines to its own squad. Mercedes keeps its works team and supplies both Alpine and Williams. Renault exits F1 engine supply entirely after 2025. The 2026 engines keep the 1.6L V6 turbo but drop the MGU-H. The MGU-Kโ€™s output will jump significantly to around 350 kW. New sustainable fuels will be introduced, with energy-based flow limits. Hybrid systems will play a bigger role, making software and energy recovery critical. What are your thoughts? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ’ญ Featuring Media From Formula 1 ...
