But here’s the problem: it doesn’t stop the muscle loss, bone thinning, and balance decline that naturally happen as we age. And those are the very things that determine whether you stay strong, steady, and independent. That’s why I teach my patients to combine walking with strength training, balance drills, and core work. These extra pieces don’t just make you fitter — they protect you from falls, keep your joints supported, and make everyday activities easier.
