Florida A&M University has been awarded a $399,971 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to launch “Boldly RISE”, a groundbreaking research project focused on student retention, wellness, and academic success.
Led by Dr. Huijun Li and a powerhouse team of researchers, this three-year study will develop innovative strategies to help FAMU freshmen thrive academically, socially, and emotionally 💡📚
The *Boldly RISE* initiative will be integrated into FAMU’s first-year experience and includes
✅ Behavioral health assessments
✅ Wellness and retention programs
✅ Hands-on research training for undergraduate students
