Rest in Peace, Dad š§ļøā¤ļø
Today, my father, Juan Murillo, passed away.
Thank you to everyone who has offered their love, support, and prayers.. it has meant the world to us during this time.
In his final moments, he spoke softly about his own parents⦠and even the government for some reason.
I was right there with him, holding his hand, telling him that everything was going to be OK. That Mom will be OK. And that he could rest now.
Not long after he passed, it started to rain ā and if you knew him, youād know how much he loved the rain. It was like the sky was crying with us, or maybe giving him a proper send-off.
And something beautiful and almost unbelievable⦠He had this old towel heās had for over 10 years. Today, it was under him when he passed. And printed on it were the words: āI survived.ā Somehow, it felt like a final message.. one last piece of his strength he left behind for us.
Iām so grateful I got to be by his side as he left this world, and Iāll carry those last ...
