Recovery takes time. One year after #HurricaneHelene, children and families are still working to rebuild their lives — and so are we. Together with local partners, Save the Children has: ❤️ Helped restore 290 child care centers across Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina (Florida numbers include centers impacted by both Helene and Milton), reaching over 8,000 children. ❤️ Provided psychosocial support programs for more than 3,600 children to help them heal. ❤️ Supported families with back-to-school cash assistance so kids can return to learning with confidence.
