Around the world in 90 minutes ⏱️⁣ ⁣ Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Koichi Wakata captured these views on Jan. 22, 2023, on the International Space Station (ISS) from an altitude about 250 miles (400 km) above Earth. The ISS travels around Earth at an incredible speed of 17,500 miles (28,000 km) per hour, orbiting Earth every 90 minutes, witnessing 16 sunrises and sunsets per day.⁣ ⁣ 1.
