Jessica L’Whor is a popular name in Colorado’s drag community, but the influencer, performer and philanthropist is always looking to shine the spotlight on other artists. As the creator of drag celebration events like the Drag, Initiatives, and Variety Awards (the DIVAs) and Colorado’s Next Drag Superstar, L’Whor, who has dubbed herself the Drag Entrepreneur of Colorado, wants to highlight her community and show off how big it is. Earlier this year, she told Westword that she hoped the 2025 DIVA Awards would show Colorado “how big, large, powerful, loud, queer, drag and trans we are.” Voting participation came in at an all-time high for the event, which took place in April.
