Congratulations to the student-athletes of the week! 📚 ⚽️ In a battle against No. 23-ranked Maryland, @christianjdionne1 cleaned up a loose ball in the Terrapins 18-yard box and buried the shot behind the visiting goalkeeper to take a 2-1 lead in the 85th minute. The goal proved to be a crucial one, as Maryland struck back less than two minutes later to knot the match at two and force a tie, out of which @pennstatemsoc earned its first point in conference play. 🏒 @katiedesa35 backstopped @pennstatewhky to a dominant weekend, earning a 15-save shutout in Thursday night’s home opener against No. 9 St. Lawrence to secure the win. She followed it up with 21 more saves in Friday’s 5-2 victory, helping the Nittany Lions complete the two-game sweep of the Saints. #WeAre x @miwindows
